Digital learning for ITT

NASBTT Learn has been offering self-study, app-based training courses for trainee teachers since 2019. Through the NASBTT Learn app our short courses have been completed more than 100,000 times. They have integrated well into providers' curricula and enhanced trainees' learning experience. We've added 24 new learning modules that map to the ITTECF and a new Induction Programme to help prepare trainees for their initial placement.

Induction programme

A 5-module course to help introduce trainees to the teaching profession, build confidence and ensure they are well prepared for their training.

Core ITTECF modules

24 1-hour modules to cover all the "Learn that..." statements of the ITTECF with AI feedback and evidence-base incorporation.

'Deep dive' modules

30 additional courses on statutory requirements, SEND, diversity, wellbeing and much more, helping you add depth to your training offering.

Expanded content

New learning modules examine key theories, explore classroom techniques putting knowledge into practice through scenarios and support for ITAP.

AI feedback

We now use AI to give instant feedback whenever a trainee does a written task to increase engagement and motivation.

Evidence base incorporation

Summaries of the evidence base in each new module offer trainees insight into up-to-date research and best practices underpinning the theory.

Curriculum integration

Modular format allows seamless integration of courses alongside your curriculum or to support trainees when needed.

Easy tracking

The app provides the evidence you need to monitor trainee learning and meet Ofsted and Department for Education quality assurance.

Digital badges and certificates

Trainees automatically receive a digital badge and certificate by email when they complete a module – an easy why to motivate and provide evidence of achievement.

New induction programme

All trainees need to be prepared for the demanding start to their course and the NASBTT Learn now offers the perfect induction course. The programme has five short modules to enable trainees to prepare effectively, gain confidence and adapt to a new professional environment before their training begins.

Mentor training on NASBTT Learn

Anspear has worked with NASBTT to develop the Mentor Development Modules for the NABSTT Learn app. There are 60 modules in total, covering all aspects of NASBTT's Professional Framework for Teacher Educators. A diagnostic assessment kickstarts and personalises a mentors training by suggesting the most suitable modules based on experience.
