Degrees in Youth Justice
Affordable, flexible and expertly designed online degrees for Youth Justice Practitioners.
Flexible distance learning for professionals
Since 2017 the Anspear-Unitas model has been transforming the delivery of part-time degrees to professionals. Anspear's technology has underpinned the innovative Foundation Degree in Youth Justice, undertaken remotely by more than 1200 students. Degrees are awarded by the University of Suffolk. A module of the course has also been integrated into a curriculum at the University of Derby.
Effective Practitioner Certificate
The Youth Justice Effective Practitioner Certificate has been a widely recognised Level 5 course since 2012 and Anspear's technology has helped deliver it to more than 1000 students. The 30-week programme has also been integrated into the Criminology Degree at the University of Derby.
Foundation Degree
The Foundation Degree in Youth Justice is a 108-week Level 5 programme lending academic insight and practical application. It was designed to be flexible and affordable, fitting around the commitments of professionals working with youth offenders.

Flexible, modular study
Not only was the study model designed to fit around full-time work, the modular structure made it possible to build up from a Level 4 Certificate all the way to BA (Hons) at Level 6.
Affordable study
Affordability is as important as flexibility in distance learning. Unitas' cost-effective course delivery method with Anspear made it easier for students to gain knowledge and skills than ever before.
Practical study
The unique degrees empower students with both the academic and practical skills needed to make an impact, something that can only be offered by study on the job.
We believe the use of Anspear's technology for both practitioners and young people in Youth Justice will bring about a step-change in engagement due to its accessibility and brilliant design. Integrated mobile learning is the future of staff development and Anspear will lead the way in supporting remote learners of all types.

Impact and outcomes
Anspear's technolgy and content builders allowed Unitas to deliver 138 weeks of effective learning content to nearly 2000 students. In doing so we helped drive change in a field that Unitas and its students are deeply committed to. Our work with Unitas ultimately extended to supporting multiple different programmes.
