A University of Buckingham course, delivered in partnership Anspear, specially designed for learners who plan to join the BA (Hons) in Primary Education. This 12-week Introduction to Academic Writing course provides a direct route to the BA programme for students without traditional academic qualifications.
This new course provides a pathway for potential BA (Hons) Primary Education candidates who do not have the two A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications) required for entry. By successfully completing the course, individuals without Level 3 qualifications can demonstrate their ability to succeed at degree level and become eligible to apply.

8 September 2025: Introduction to Academic Writing application deadline.
15 September 2025: Introduction to Academic Writing course starts.
12 January 2026: Introduction to Academic Writing course starts (second cohort).
w/c 15 September 2025: Introduction to Academic Writing orientation session.
w/c 12 January 2026: Introduction to Academic Writing orientation session (second cohort).
May 2026: BA (Hons) Primary Education application deadline.

Completing the this course is a pathway to applying for the BA (Hons) in Primary Education.
No prior qualifications required.
