This year marks the 20th anniversary of the National Association of Professional Teaching Assistants (NAPTA). Since 2003, NAPTA, in partnership with Anspear, has supported over 150,000 teaching assistants (TAs) by providing opportunities for their professional development and enhancing their practice.

To commemorate this significant milestone, NAPTA conducted a survey aimed at:

• Illuminating how support staff are currently deployed.

• Amplifying the voices of TAs.

• Fostering discussions that can lead to enhancements in the deployment and training of support staff.
