The HfL Library offers mobile learning courses from Herts for Learning, in association with Anspear. The content can be accessed on multiple mobile devices using the HfL Library app, online and offline, and via the web at hfllibrary.hertsforlearning.co.uk.
To get the app, go to Google Play or the Apple App Store and search for 'HfL Library'. The app is free to download.
First, you will need your product activation code from Herts for Learning. Then, open the app or go to hfllibrary.hertsforlearning.co.uk and use the Register link. Enter your name, email and password along with your activation code.
The product activation code is what entitles you to use the HfL Library. When you enter it, it will assign you the correct courses and add your account to your own organisation. Codes are available from Herts for Learning - if you don't have yours, speak to your school administrator or contact HfL directly.
When a school or setting signs up, they receive a multi-use product activation code that will work for a set number of uses. Each member of staff creates an account separately, all using the same code.
If more staff join, contact Herts for Learning. They can issue a new product activation code, or add more uses to an existing code.
If staff leave, please contact Herts for Learning or hfl@nimbl.uk and their accounts can be archived.
CPD leaders can be given tutor status. Log in via the web at hfllibrary.hertsforlearning.co.uk and click on 'Learners' to see information about their progress and the courses they have completed.
If you have trouble registering an account, it may be that there is already an account set up with your email address. If so, use the 'Forgot password' link in the app or at hfllibrary.hertsforlearning.co.uk. You will be able to use your product activation code after logging in by selecting 'Use code' from the menu on the home screen.
Once you have an account, you can use the same login details across all your devices and the web. Your progress will be saved and synced across all platforms.
If you don't have your code, contact your school admin or Herts for Learning.
You can request a password reset using the 'Forgot password' link in the app or at hfllibrary.hertsforlearning.co.uk. If this does not work, email hfl@nimbl.uk for support.
